Life and Parenting Skills Classes Image

Life and Parenting Skills Classes

The Booth Program offers support and resources to meet the unique needs of pregnant and parenting young adults.

The Life Skills program is part of the Booth Program's real-life educational opportunity for students to learn how to transition into parenthood. This includes classes taught by local experts on parenting, budgeting, legal counsel, nutrition, prenatal education, child development and postnatal education. Young parents receive one-on-one coaching to navigate through the new responsibilities of being a parent while maintaining a support system. Life Skills courses are also open to other young parents that are looking to improve their parenting skills, life skills and belong to a supportive community.
